Serafini is an historical name in the Tuscan shoe sector; since four generations the family is devoted to the production and marketing of shoes; not only sports shoes, but also elegant ones.

The origins of the family business date back to 1885 when Giuseppe Serafini opens a shop, where not only he sells materials and hides necessary for the shoe production, and also personally carries out the cobbler’s craft.

In 1921 the son Orlando takes over. Initially he carries on the hand made shoe production, to launch himself into the world of industrial shoe manufacturing soon afterwards.

In 1932 the birth of the �Calzaturificio Aretino� represents a fundamental step for the family business that exploits the workmanship of the local cobblers to produce elegant shoes both for men and women.

The son Giuseppe Jr continues to follow the family tradition and specializes himself in production and marketing of elegant shoes.

Midst of the 80�s the entry of Fabrizio represents a new phase which we could define �sporty�; in a period when the market is progressively becoming a global market he aimed at the renewal of the business in general.
